Overview
Stingray Copper Inc. is a copper exploration and development company with its activities focused at the El Pilar copper project located in the Cananea copper trend of Sonora, Mexico. The Corporation has its head office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and has exploration offices in Hermosillo, Mexico and Tucson, Arizona.
The Corporation acquired Noranda Exploration Mexico S.A. de C.V. resulting in the acquisition of a 100% interest in the "El Pilar" copper oxide property located in Sonora, Mexico. The El Pilar property is an advanced exploration stage project where the corporation has recently completed over 40,000 meters of definition drilling. A methodical but expeditious program of resource and reserve definition and metallurgical testing is underway and should allow the Corporation to see a positive revaluation of the underlying value of the El Pilar Property for the benefit of shareholders as the Corporation addresses the project’s risks and explores for additional potential at El Pilar. Stingray has engaged an experienced technical team of engineers and consultants to complete the Feasibilty Study of the El Pilar project for Q1/2009.
The Corporation also holds gold, silver and other copper, exploration properties located in northwestern Mexico. Stingray's technical team operates primarily from the Corporation’s office in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
