News Release TORONTO, ONTARIO--Stingray Resources Inc. reports that the Company is completing efforts to secure a significant precious metal property interest in Mexico. At the Company's July 7, 2003 Annual & Special General Meeting, shareholders of the Company approved the name change to Stingray Resources Inc., the Federal Continuation of the Company and the adoption of the Company's Stock Option Plan. Earlier in the year, the Company was suspended from the TSX Venture Exchange for not meeting Tier 2 listing requirements. In May, the Company submitted a reactivation plan which has included the consolidation of the Company's share capital on a 2(old) for 1 (new) share basis and the settlement of debt aggregating $127,274 by the issuance of common shares at $0.20 per share (post consolidation) as approved by shareholders. Additionally the Company has arranged and filed for Exchange approval private placements for $320,000 in convertible notes and has applied to change the Company's stock symbol from STY.H to SRY.H. The Company's directors have requested a halt be placed on the trading of the Company's shares on NEX. The Company is fulfilling the requirements necessary to resume trading on the TSX Tier 2 Venture Exchange. Upon the satisfaction of these requirements the Company is expected to resume trading as a TSX Venture Exchange Tier 2 listed Company.
